The University of Chicago?s Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology, and the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center are searching a for full-time faculty member on the School of Medicine track at the Assistant Professor rank who specializes in leukemia, classical hematology, and related clinical research. The appointee will have a heavy emphasis on inpatient leukemia service and outpatient clinical responsibilities at our Hyde Park campus and at network locations. Other duties will include the teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be BC/BE in Hematology and/or Oncology.
