THE ROLE poppi is looking for a visually disruptive, forward-thinking Apparel Graphics Designer to join our growing Creative team. This role will be responsible for defining and executing the brand's vision for our growing apparel and merchandise business. The ideal candidate has prior apparel graphic design experience, inclusive of art set up, screens, and a deep knowledge of print technique and fashion trend, with the ability to support digitally where necessary.
WHAT YOU'LL DO - Develop unique and compelling graphics, illustration, and patterns for apparel and products, including t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and other hard-line merchandise, that reflect the brand's identity and support specific partnerships or launches. Work with the creative team to brainstorm and conceptualize new design ideas for upcoming collections, providing creative references, and ideas while staying up to date on social trends and how that impacts our swag output.
- Partner with the marketing and product development team to align designs with current campaigns, trends, and community feedback.
- Stay updated on fashion trends, color palettes, and consumer preferences to ensure designs are relevant and appealing with the potential to go viral; and provide a POV on silhouettes and fabrications based on trends and community feedback.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications and production-ready files for print manufacturers, ensuring designs are ready for printing and production; and work with product developers on delivering sample notes and updating art to achieve best quality product.
- Maintain brand consistency across all designs, ensuring that all apparel graphics align with the overall brand strategy and guidelines.
- Create and present design concepts and mock-ups to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance designs.
- Support the creative team with digital assets to support various launches as needed.
WHAT YOU BRING - Strong portfolio of work demonstrating the ability to manage complex projects across the apparel or fashion industry.
- Deep understanding of print techniques, scaling, and creating production-friendly artwork.
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary casualwear and streetwear trends that would inspire creative solutions for poppi apparel.
- Strong creative skills with an eye for detail, color, and composition.
- Ability to manage your time and projects efficiently and independently, while also being collaborative and flexible to feedback
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with changing project requirements and priorities.
- Strong communication skills with experience and confidence in presenting across all audience sizes and levels
- Experience ideating on photography and videography concepts preferred
- Up to date on pop culture and social trends.
YOUR BACKGROUND - 3+ years of experience in apparel graphic design.
- Experience in print set ups, embroidery, pattern creation, and understanding of apparel trends.
- Experience with print production processes and garment construction.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Suite, and Asana.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS - Travel for business meetings and team offsites on an as needed basis.
- Willingness to work outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business demands.

COMPENSATION : Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $68,000 - $78,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
