Come rent bikes and boats at the lake at Denver’s beautiful Washington Park! Wheel Fun Rentals is looking for Part-time & Full-time seasonal Guest Service Staff member.

About us:

Wheel Fun Rentals is a family owned bicycle and watercraft rental company. We primarily rent a number of specialty bikes and two-wheeled bikes that are ridden around the park within which they are rented. We now also rent our popular swan pedal-paddle boats that are ridden around Smith Lake in beautiful Washington Park.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position is accountable for offering excellent guest service and increasing location sales.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

Guest Service: ​ Meet and greet all guests. Utilize Point of Sale (POS) machine to collect payment.

Provide rental recommendations to clients based on their group size, as well as answer any questions regarding our equipment/products

Provide clear and thorough safety instructions to all guests.

Ensure Safety protocols are followed by all guests when using our rentals

Prioritize excellent customer service to each and every guest.

Routine sweeping of the kiosk. Maintain cleanliness of all equipment/rentals.

Grass-Root Marketing: ​ Support ongoing marketing efforts by distributing brochures and increasing sales by utilizing coupons, up-selling concession items, and other sales promotions.

Product Display and Maintenance: ​ Make sure that all products are well organized, maintained, in proper working order, cleaned daily, and secured at all times.

Paperwork and Reports: ​ Fill out all paperwork and reports thoroughly and legibly.

Team Work: ​ Work well with all other staff members to ensure that you are creating a family-friendly, positive, and solution-oriented workplace.

REQUIREMENTS:

Honest, out-going team player that seeks to learn and grow. Must be able to fluently speak English, work outdoors in changing weather conditions, walk for long periods of time, lift/pull/push up to 50 pounds. Strong and effective communication skills.

Position Reports to: ​ Operations Manager

Pay Rate: ​ $18.89 (guaranteed) per hour plus tips + End of Season Bonus (performance based)

Hours: ​ Part-Time and Full-Time Seasonal (May-October) positions available.

Training will commence in early April. We are open weekends only April-Memorial Day. Full Time work will be available during our peak season Memorial Day Weekend into October

Availability: Must be able to commit to working at least 2-3 days a week during the Summer season (Memorial Day- Labor Day)

Must be available to work major holidays/holiday weekends. ex. Memorial Day, 7/4, and Labor Day/weekend. This is a requirement to be considered for the maximum end of season bonus

Being that this is a Summer Seasonal position it is imperative that staff must be on time to each an every assigned shift, or have someone else cover them for that shift.
