Job Description

Asbury Automotive Group Inc in Brandon, FL is looking for a Virtual Online Business Analyst to join our 8 person strong team. We are located on 1728 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, Fl 33511 and 2905 Premiere Pkwy #300, Duluth, Ga 30097. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

Provide support in report generation and analysis across multiple functions, including explaining variances between actual and budgeted results Coordinate with necessary functions (e.g. Accounting, AP, Business Partners) in monitoring project level details relative to spend and strategic initiatives.

Set clear and inspiring visions, bringing to life the business and architectural context showing how the analytics tools fit within the overall infrastructure and high-performance data architecture.

Support the implementation of new organizational metrics for measuring important, but hard-to-quantify, outcomes, such as member engagement

Ensures the budgeting process is carried out in accordance to the corporate mandates for the budgeting year, relating to the income statement and balance sheet. Evaluate operational output and prepare reports/charts reflecting operational efficiency by collecting information and summarizing results into new reports/charts. Process and record daily cash receipts including make copies of all checks received,prepare daily deposit slip, and maintain daily check register.

Leverage data analysis and market intelligence to identify growth and optimization opportunities for our business and product Solve complex business problems by converting raw data into meaningful and actionable insights; present key findings and recommendations to various stakeholders to empower data driven decision-making

Build and lead coalition teams to address work efforts approved by the work alignment team and assigned for planning and execution.

Draft business requirements at the appropriate level of detail for each work effort, ensuring the cross-functional impacts and any required coordination/integration effort has been identified ahead of the solution.

Qualifications

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
  • B.S. degree, prefer majors in Finance and/or Accounting.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups and other data manipulation formulas).
  • GAAP: fundamental knowledge of, understanding of internal and external research methods for, and driving compliance of
  • Internal Controls: experience working with and maintaining existing controls
  • Systems and Tools: experience working with and making recommendations for efficiencies with systems and tools, such as SAP
  • Continuous Improvement: experience identifying areas for continuous improvement and/or cost reductions and making recommendations for enhancement
  • Reporting: proven ability to consolidate complex information into usable customer oriented formats
  • Business Partnering: experience working closely with internal customers, peers and effectively managing those relationships
  • Critical Thinking: experience providing insightful analysis to business partners in response to business need or opportunity
