Vendors' Village in Terre Haute is immediately hiring for the following position:

• Cashier/ Customer Service Evenings/Weekends

Cashier/ Customer Service Duties:

Obtains payment for goods by itemizing and totaling customer's purchases. Provide customer service to customers and vendors. Must have a good attitude, must be flexible, and must be ready to work.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $8.50 - 9.00 hour

Responsibilities

• Itemizes and totals purchases by recording prices, operating a cash register, collects payments by accepting cash or charge payments from customers, and making change for cash customers with light cleaning duties. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

• Dependability, Customer Service, Attention to Detail, General Math Skills, Basic Safety, Reliable transportation, ability to adhere to schedule
• Cash handling experience a Plus!
• Business Hours 10 am - 8 pm Mon-Sat, 12 pm - 6 pm Sundays
• Nights, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holiday availability required
• Flexibility is a must as we are looking for someone who wants and enjoys working evening and weekend shifts.
• Must be 18 years old
• Must be able to pass background check
