Job Title: ENT Surgical Tech
Location: Peoria, IL
Salary: Up to $29.00/hour
Shift: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM | No nights, weekends, or major holidays
Job Overview:
We are hiring two experienced ENT Surgical Techs to join a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center. Candidates will specialize in ENT procedures and are expected to cross-train into additional surgical services. Certification is not required, but prior experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare sterile instrument setups and assist in ENT surgical procedures
Pass instruments, hold retractors, and anticipate surgeon needs
Maintain strict sterile technique and patient safety standards
Clean and restock operating rooms and sterilize equipment per protocols
Recognize and report patient condition changes during surgery
Demonstrate competency in fewer than five surgical specialties (cross-training required)
Follow AORN and AST best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience - Required
Strong understanding of ENT surgical procedures and sterile technique
Ability to provide care for patients aged 6 months through adult
Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively under high-pressure environments
Completion of a Surgical Tech program - Preferred
