Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Turlock, California. This Contract-to-permanent position offers a dynamic opportunity to lead and enhance HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with organizational goals and foster a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and workforce development.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with the company's business objectives and workforce needs.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and related processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Develop and implement training programs to build employee skills and leadership pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while maintaining and enforcing company policies.
- Manage performance evaluation systems and provide actionable coaching to address performance issues.
- Oversee compensation structures and benefits programs, leveraging competitive benchmarks to attract and retain employees.
- Utilize HR tools and analytics to monitor employee engagement, turnover, and other key metrics.
- Act as a mediator in resolving workplace conflicts and fostering an inclusive, positive work environment.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to promote a fair and welcoming workplace.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or grievances and take appropriate action. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources management or a related role.
- Proficiency with HR platforms such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and other HCM systems.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, employee relations, and compliance standards.
- Solid experience in managing compensation, benefits, and performance management programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees and leadership effectively.
- Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices and their implementation in the workplace.
- Ability to analyze HR metrics and use data-driven insights to inform decisions.
- Familiarity with workforce planning, upskilling, and employee development strategies.
