Job Description

Job Summary: The Equities Analyst will be responsible for providing comprehensive analysis and research on companies within the Industrials sector. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in equity research, a deep understanding of the Industrials sector, and proficiency in developing long-only strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of companies within the Industrials sector, including financial modeling, valuation, and competitive analysis.

Monitor and analyze market trends, industry developments, and economic indicators that impact the Industrials sector.

Generate investment ideas and recommendations for the long-only ETF strategy, focusing on maximizing returns while managing risk.

Prepare detailed research reports, presentations, and investment memos to communicate findings and investment recommendations to the portfolio management team.

Collaborate with other analysts and portfolio managers to develop and refine investment strategies and models.

Stay current with regulatory changes, technological advancements, and industry best practices that affect the Industrials sector.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. A CFA designation or progress towards it is highly desirable.

2-5 years of experience in equity research, with a focus on the Industrials sector.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Demonstrated ability to generate actionable investment ideas and recommendations.

Proficiency with financial software and tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet, and Excel.

Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
