Job Description

A prominent and well-established California-based law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for its Sacramento office. This firm has a long history of providing sophisticated legal services across various practice areas, including complex business litigation, employment, and real estate. They are known for fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

This role offers an initial on-site period of 90 days, with the potential for a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) thereafter.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage internal case databases and e-Discovery tools
• Handle all phases of discovery, including organizing, reviewing, and summarizing documents.
• Prepare for and provide comprehensive support at trials and arbitrations, including exhibit management and operating presentation tools.
• Conduct factual and legal research (Westlaw, online sources).
• Assist with PAGA/class action wage record analysis and damages calculations using Excel.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal secretaries on court filings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of complex litigation paralegal experience, preferably in employment or real estate matters.
• ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's Degree
• Strong proficiency with e-Discovery software like Relativity.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills required).
• Experience with litigation software such as CaseMap, TextMap, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and trial presentation tools (Sanction/Trial Director).
