TES Staffing is assisting a dedicated team in the Business Department at an east side school district to find a  Payroll Clerk, who will play a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time!

What You'll Do:

As a Payroll Clerk, you'll manage critical payroll processes that keep the district running smoothly. Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing and reviewing payroll data for accuracy.
• Managing employee absences, timecards, and automated timekeeping systems.
• Handling payroll deductions, benefits enrollments, and insurance billing.
• Supporting new employees with medical, dental, and retirement benefits setup.
• Collaborating with agencies for compensation claims and unemployment insurance.
• Generating reports for leadership and maintaining organized records.

What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• A strong foundation in office practices and payroll systems.
• Sharp attention to detail, mathematical aptitude, and the ability to handle sensitive data with care.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in word processing, database management, and using tools like calculators and spreadsheets.

Schedule:

• Regular Hours : 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (37.5-hour workweek).
• Summer & School Break Hours : 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
