Drakontas is seeking an experienced Web & Mobile Frontend Developer to join our DragonForce engineering team, driving innovation and enhancing our product. This position offers a chance to design and develop sophisticated, customer-facing features tailored for mission-critical applications in complex environments.

The position requires a deep understanding of Native development for android and iOS, experience with cross platform development and network protocols. The ability to work collaboratively and lead small, fast paced agile teams, focused on problem solving and product delivery to clients.

To be successful in this role you should have experience with the following:

• GIS technology such as OpenLayers, OpenStreetMaps, ESRi ArcGIS
• Technologies for push-to-talk, live video, and other interactive streaming media, such as WebRTC & RTSP
• Interaction with mobile peripherals and accessories via Bluetooth/BLE
• Automated build and testing tools for web and mobile applications

Technical Requirements

• Native development for Android (Java, Kotlin) and/or iOS (ObjectiveC, Swift)
• Cross-platform mobile app development with React Native, using TypeScript and JavaScript
• Web app development with React, using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• RESTful APIs, WebSockets, Redux
• Deep familiarity with version control, ticketing, and process tools, particularly Git and Jira

Non-Technical Requirements

• English language fluency, both oral and written
• Able to work well in a small team and apply initiative to execute projects to completion
• Professional maturity to interact independently with customers and subject matter experts
• High speed internet connection (video conferencing, etc.)
