Name of position: Sr. LMS Administrator
Location: Washington DC
job description
o Oversee the day-to-day operations of the LMS, ensuring functionality, reliability, and accessibility.
o Configure system settings, permissions, roles, and hierarchies to meet organizational needs.
o Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to the LMS platform.
o Serve as the primary point of contact for LMS daily operations and end-user support.
o Monitor system performance and provide feedback on improvements.
2. User Management:
o Create, update, and deactivate user accounts as necessary.
o Troubleshoot user access issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
o Generate user activity reports and analyze engagement trends.
3. Course Management:
o Manage online or blended learning solutions and training curricula.
o Develop and update standardized reporting tools for ongoing access to learning information.
o Build online assessments and manage course tracking.
o Collaborate with third-party vendors for course integration into the LMS.
4. Troubleshooting:
o Provide troubleshooting assistance for users regarding system access and functionality.
o Serve as a point of escalation for support issues and interact with LMS vendors as needed.
5. Reporting and Analytics:
o Develop custom reports on user progress, course completion, and compliance.
o Provide data insights to support organizational learning strategies.
6. Documentation and Training:
o Develop and maintain operating procedures and user guides for the LMS.
o Conduct training for users, administrators, and course creators.
Qualifications:
· Certified Cornerstone Administrator with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the government sector.
· Technical expertise in troubleshooting, directory/file structures, and course design.
· Strong collaboration, customer service, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, driving innovation and applying new learning technologies.
