Position: Sr Mulesoft Developer

Location: Wilmington, MA (On-site from day1)

Duration: 6-12 months

Description of Services: Integration / Conversion Lead Consultant

• Collaborates with Director of Data Platforms & Analytics, ERP Director, Program Management, and IT application leaders to compile ideas, draft business cases, identify key results, and prioritize initiatives for data integrations assets.
• Drives Integration pattern discussions with PwC, Internal team. Documents to come to a decision on fit for purpose Integration design patterns without any predisposition to MuleSoft, OCI or other technologies
• As it fits, performs POC on integration patterns working with Oracle, PwC and internal team members.
• Drives conversion framework for ERP implementation, for UNF data analysis, profiling, cleansing and transformation and put together technical plan, working closely with ERP team, PM and Boundary Application owners
• Create and maintain architectural designs, roadmaps, and executive presentations that demonstrate our vision, strategy, and trade-offs.
• Communicate overall solution vision, technical strategy, and trade-offs with respect to data integrations journey.
• Plan out required resources for data integration needs and assist in shaping the resources and work items.
• Performs necessary research to ensure initiatives are technically viable and the cost/benefit is understood.
• Demonstrate working knowledge with several functional areas (data assets) including Finance, Sales, Customer Experience, HR-Employee Experience.
• Guide, direct and coach engineering teams/resources to support initiatives.
• Identifies and helps vet technical requirements to product initiatives.
• Document best practices, enterprise development patterns, technology implementation

OVERVIEW

• Build out an Enterprise level data integration framework for all systems (overall conceptual solution architecture)
• Understand current state and help define future state
• Meet with the business and begin prioritizing the business integration backlog using Agile methodologies
• Specific projects begin with the Solution Architecture outlining
  • Business Architectures - define business processes
  • Data Architectures - define the data processes
  • Application Architecture - build out the APIs using the API Led Connectivity
    • Defining the type of integration
      • Near-Real-time
      • Batch API
    • Assessing and providing concrete recommendations for the type of platform (MuleSoft/OCI/SSIS/Other) to use to implement integrations
  • Technology (Security) Architecture - define the best practices for data orchestration
• Track all integrations projects with the PMO / Scrum Master
• Lead Integration/Conversion development POD
• Provide mentorship and management to technical team
  • For example, when using MuleSoft/ OCI/ Others
    • Build out standards for API templates/Batch API templates
    • Ensure there is a governance and best practices in place
    • This will allow the development team and ensure them that they are following best practices
• Contribute to the management of OIC platforms Anypoint Platform (MuleSoft's middleware platform)
• Provide KPIs and metrics to define integration applications contribution to the business
• Provide architectural recommendations for when to use the various tools in place for integrations.
• Build conversion / migration framework for ERP program, around UNF Data Analysis, profiling, cleansing and transformation to deliver conversion extracts as expected by ERP Delivery team
