Tier 1 NOC Manager - Fiber / Telecom Network (Remote/WFH) – M-F
Direct Hire - must be legally authorized top work in the United State on a full-time basis.
We are currently recruiting a full-time, Fully Remote Tier 1 NOC Manager for one of our Fiber Telecom clients.
The ideal candidates will have a background managing a Network Operations center and 3 rd party vendor. You should be very familiar with managing the outsourced vendor as well as driving new growth initiatives. You’ll Analyze incident trends and root causes to identify opportunities for service enhancement and operational efficiency.
You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the end client’s networks, ensuring client satisfaction and network quieting.
To be considered you should have a strong background in network operations, technical expertise in network troubleshooting, and familiarity with tools like Nagios or SolarWinds. You should have a proven track record of optimizing network operations, reducing false positive alerts, and improving incident response times. You should also be adept at developing strategic maintenance schedules, streamlining incident management processes, and mentoring junior NOC engineers. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and ITIL Foundation are highly desirable.
In this role you’ll: Manage and maintain end client’s networks.
Quickly resolve incidents and monitor alerts to resolve issues before clients are aware.
Assist in the development and implementation of NOC processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Lead and mentor a team of 3 rd party NOC engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
Oversee the monitoring of network performance and availability, respond to and troubleshoot network incidents, and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:
A+ Certification is preferred.
NET+ Certification is preferred.
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is preferred.
1+ years’ experience in computer and network management is required.
Experience in managing Fiber networks is preferred.
