Lease Up Property Manager - Urban Development + Partners

$80,000-$90,000  salary range

About you:

You are an experienced property manager with the aptitude to manage the day-to-day operations of our award-winning portfolio. You are an accomplished multitasker, able to pre-empt issues before they become problems, and keep your team on track to meet their quarterly and yearly goals.

You are also:

  • An excellent communicator with 4 years of experience in the property management industry
  • Experienced with new development/lease-up properties with a track record of success that you can explain  
  • An expert in handling escalated customer service needs with timely resolutions
  • Experienced in navigating annual budget preparation including capital improvement projects 
  • Positive, enthusiastic, resolution focused and able to adapt to fast-changing situations
  • Self teaching and willing to learn in a fast paced and high pressure environment while managing multiple priorities and properties 
  • Entrepreneurial spirited and have the ability to analyze effective process and procedure 
  • Able to manage up to leadership and present property information in a concise and effective manner in daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting 
  • Experienced in leading, training and motivating a team
  • Customer-focused and dedicated to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers
  • Strong in accounting month end and forecasting skills, including variance reporting, reclass and accruals and 36 month forecasting 
  • Able to assess sub market competitors and provide critical market information including pricing, concessions, availability and occupancy to leadership on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Experienced auditing all marketing activities including ILS and social media marketing
  • Up to date with all Fair Housing Regulations, local ordinances and laws, and other legal issues affecting property management
  • Familiar with Yardi or equivalent property management software and/or willing to learn and meet critical competency levels within a required time frame
